This French press coffee maker is simply perfect. Exactly what I was looking for, for my outdoor activities (fishing, hiking, trekking, bivouacking, cycle touring, etc.) The quality/price ratio of Helikon-Tex is unbeatable.

A very handy mug, quite suitable for hiking, pretty lightweight, but there is one downside: the silicone handles burn very quickly, especially if you use this mug not on a burner but on a campfire. I recommend everyone to cut them off or somehow remove them before use. Other than that, the mug is very good, high-quality, and light.

This French press is very practical for a tent – it takes up little space, it's easy to keep clean, and you can quickly rinse it under running water. Just right for two coffees. You do need to press the plunger carefully though, as the coffee can spurt out.

I bought this coffee maker for a friend and he instantly really liked it. He prepares his coffee in it every day quickly and without using lots of dishes. It's easily enough for two breakfast coffees or three smaller servings. You can use it with boiling water, or on a gas burner or campfire – it always works perfectly.
