The anorak is made from high-quality materials. It is great for outdoor use. The wide, oversize cut allows for easy layering of several warming garments, which is a big advantage. I definitely recommend it.

I think the design concept of the Tracer anorak is brilliant: the relaxed cut offers great freedom of movement and the chest and side zippers allow for very good ventilation control. Side zippers also make it easy to quickly put on and take off the anorak, and when completely unzipped they even allow to take off an underneath fleece without taking off the anorak itself. After trying the Woodsman model—which has a very similar overall design—I find the Tracer better suited to my needs. The Tracer’s fabric is 50% polyester / 48% cotton / 2% elastane, which results in almost a 20% weight increase vs the Woodsman (65% p. / 33% c. / 2% e.). But apart from this I find the Tracer way superior. Unlike the Woodsman, the Tracer features two handy shoulder pockets. And the 3 pouches inside the Tracer’s kangaroo pocket are wide enough to accommodate a mobile phone and to allow your fingers to retrieve small items from inside, which is not the case with the Woodsman.

I haven't worn anoraks before, but it turned out to be a great thing, it looks very good and is comfortable. The Helikon has excellent functionality and good fittings. If it's too warm, you can unzip the side zips. Functional pockets. The hood adjusts perfectly. I definitely recommend it, good quality.

I bought this anorak for sentimental reasons – as a young boy I had a similar one. I am 180 cm tall with a 140 cm chest, so I had to choose size 3XL for a good fit. I really appreciate the underarm zips, which are great for physical activity. I tested it at 5°C wearing only a T-shirt – while moving around, it performs average (3/10). With an extra insulating layer (level 2), the rating goes up to 6/10. An anorak worn over a light down jacket is already 8/10, while the full set: level 2 + down jacket + anorak provides maximum comfort (10/10). Just a T-shirt with the anorak at 15°C is 8/10, and at 20°C, it's full comfort (10/10). It's worth remembering that the more things you put in the kangaroo pocket, the more the jacket pulls forward. You should always keep the pocket closed, otherwise, things will fall out when you bend over. This jacket isn't for everyone – you either like the kangaroo style, or you don't. Everyone has to decide for themselves.

Very high quality anorak. It works great when used outdoors. Thanks to the loose, oversized cut, you can easily put several insulating layers underneath, which is a big advantage. I definitely recommend it.

A pleasant, light and comfortable jacket made from solid material. The kangaroo pocket is placed quite high, but that's not a problem. The only drawback in my opinion is the hood visor, which I find unnecessary.

I already had the Tracer anorak in green and had wanted it for a long time in RAL7013 colour. For 1m72 / 70kg, size M is generous and perfect for wearing a Wolfhound jacket underneath without feeling too tight. The anorak is well designed and I love the fact that you can open it fully under the arms, which is useful if you're doing physical activity in changing weather.
