Helikon MBDU Flannel Long Sleeve Shirt - Ruby Plaid

I would like to share my experiences after using this shirt for a longer period. I bought it some time ago and every time I wore it, I looked great. It is one of the best models I have ever had. I regret not buying two straight away, as it is no longer available. If you value comfort, versatility and functionality, I definitely recommend it – you will not be disappointed. I have a question for the manufacturer: is a continuation of this series planned? I am looking forward to it.

The shirt is really great. I think the pattern is very attractive. It’s also comfortable, has plenty of functional pockets and ventilation holes which work well. On warm days and while wearing a backpack there were no issues. I definitely recommend this product.

At a height of 186 cm and weight of 70 kg, size M fits well. I also ordered the Defender Mk 2 model, which I had to exchange for an S. In my opinion, the MBDU fits better. Today it was tested while running, shooting, warming up and working with equipment – thanks to the elastic inserts on the sides, the shirt doesn't restrict movement at all. With a light wind you can feel the breathable material under the armpits.

I recently bought the Helikon MBDU Flannel Shirt - Ruby Plaid, but I was originally interested in the Fig Plaid colour, which unfortunately wasn’t available. I’m eagerly waiting for more colours from Helikon.

Very good shirt, a bit heavier, so I wouldn’t recommend it for summer, but it’s perfect for spring or autumn. A big advantage is the spacious sleeve pockets, which are very practical contrary to appearances.

The most comfortable tactical shirt I’ve had – keeps you warm when needed. Remember to take a size bigger than usual because it’s fitted. I know what I’m saying, I already have two of these shirts.

Nice tactical shirt that can be worn as a sweatshirt over a t-shirt. Pockets are very well placed, cuffs easily adjustable, Canadian buttons are a big plus, material pleasant to the touch.

This is my favourite shirt – fits great, the material is very pleasant, soft yet durable. It’s breathable, so it’s hard to sweat in it. Only the side elastic panels could be in a colour better matching the rest.

I am more than satisfied, which is why I’m ordering another one. It’s a pity that only four colour versions are available, because the rest don’t quite suit me. Perfect size, and finally the pockets are big enough that nothing has to be squeezed in. When it gets warm, I can easily roll up the sleeves.
