Fjord Nansen Lima II 2-Person Tent

Lightweight tent designed for two people, ideal for hiking, cycling, and water tourism. The flysheet is made of polyester with a water resistance of 3000 mm H2O/m2. The structure with external pole tunnels allows the tent to be pitched in the rain by first setting up the flysheet, which protects the sleeping area from moisture. The igloo structure ensures stability, and the spacious vestibule is used for storing luggage, footwear, or wet equipment outside the sleeping area.

The flysheet is made from durable polyester coated with a layer of polyurethane (PU), providing water resistance of 3000 mm water column. The tent effectively protects against rain and moisture in varying weather conditions. Additional lamination of all flysheet seams increases tightness and reduces the risk of leaks during heavy rainfall. The floor is made of durable polyethylene with a water resistance of 3000 mm/m2, effectively protecting against ground moisture. The sleeping interior is made of breathable polyester, which supports air circulation and thermal comfort during sleep.

The pole tunnels are located outside the flysheet, which allows the tent to be set up in the rain without the risk of wetting the sleeping area. It is possible to first erect the flysheet and then hang the sleeping section. There is an option to use only the flysheet as a light shelter during short breaks or emergency overnight stays.

Double-wall construction enhances moisture insulation and reduces condensation. The flysheet features two ventilation windows to support smooth air circulation. Additionally, the upper part of the entrance to the sleeping area has a breathable mesh panel that functions as a mosquito net. This solution protects against insects and ensures proper ventilation during warmer nights. Bright guy lines improve the visibility of the tent after dusk, enhancing safety around the campsite.

The stability of the structure is provided by a fibreglass frame with a diameter of 8.5 mm. Light and durable materials keep the tent's weight low. The design is intended for hiking, cycling, and water tourism, where resistance to weather conditions and ease of transport are essential. Once packed, the tent takes up little space, making it easy to transport in a backpack, bike panniers, or kayak luggage.
