Fjallraven Kajka Backpack 85 l - Coal Black

A backpack with a capacity of 85 litres in Coal Black colour, made from durable and waterproof Vinylon F material. It is ideal for survival expeditions and everyday use during trekking. A distinctive feature of its construction is the wooden frame made from FSC certified birch, sustainably sourced to be environmentally friendly, providing rigidity to the backpack while maintaining a low weight. The model is equipped with the Perfect Fit Adjustment System technology, allowing precise adjustment of the backpack's fit to the user's body structure.

The backpack is made from Vinylon F material, which has high resistance to mechanical damage and abrasions. This material increases weave density under moisture, enhancing its waterproofness without the need for additional protection. As a result, the backpack effectively protects the contents from light rain and maintains its properties for a long time of use.

The main compartment is closed with a flap with a drawstring on top and a front zip, facilitating access to the interior. Under the main compartment, there is a large pocket, opened from the front. The lower side pockets with drawstrings can hold a water bottle, for example, and above them are two larger zip pockets. The backpack's lid contains two pockets for better organisation of handy accessories. The lid can be detached and used as a separate bag.

The hip belt has two pockets with zips and straps, making them easier to open even with gloves. An elastic shock cord on the lid allows for attaching a jacket or jumper.

The Perfect Fit Adjustment System technology provides precise regulation of back length within the range of 42 - 61 cm and shoulder strap width in three positions, allowing the backpack to be tailored to the user's body structure. Wide shoulder straps, chest strap and hip belt ensure stability and comfort of wear. The soft padding of the back panel and shoulder straps increases comfort, and the breathable 3D mesh ensures proper ventilation. The hip straps, covered with breathable 3D mesh, distribute the load weight evenly, which is particularly important during long hikes. The Kajka 85 model uses a birch wooden frame, significantly increasing the backpack's stiffness and facilitating the carrying of heavy loads. At the top, there is a transport handle that makes lifting the backpack easier.

Thanks to the side compression straps, the backpack's size can be adjusted to the amount of equipment carried. These straps also allow for attaching additional gear, such as a sleeping pad, camping tarp, or sleeping bag. The backpack also has durable attachment points for ice axes or trekking poles, allowing for their safe transport.
