DMT 8" DuoSharp Extra Fine/Fine Diamond Sharpening Stone

A flat diamond whetstone with versatile applications. It is simple and convenient to use.

Diamond powder is sputtered onto a precision-cut steel plate with a perfectly flat surface. The main advantages of diamond whetstone:
- abrasive harder than carbides in alloy steels,
- the surface does not change shape with wear,
- does not require oil or water.

Indispensable for sharpening knives made of hard and highly wear-resistant modern high-alloy steels. For less advanced steels, it will greatly speed up sharpening.

Four self-adhesive rubber feet are included to prevent the whetstone from sliding on the ground.

Gradations:
- Red: Fine 600 - for slightly dulled blades,
- Green: Extra Fine 1200 - for final smoothing of the cutting edge.
