I bought this product out of curiosity, not having many opinions about it – I previously used mainly the Helikon Water Canteen pouch. The pouch from Direct Action is very well made and noticeably lighter, but for this reason it's also more basic and less practical than the cheaper alternative. If someone is concerned with reducing weight and doesn't mind the higher price, it could be a good choice.

A pouch designed to carry and store a bottle or canteen with a capacity of up to 1 liter. It is made of durable and abrasion-resistant Cordura.
It closes with a large and comfortable to use flap with a fastex buckle. Adjustable circumference with a drawstring on the side allows you to adjust the size to fit smaller items and secure them. MOLLE/PALS-compatible webbing on the back allows the pouch to be attached to a vest, belt, backpack or other pieces of equipment.

Very solid workmanship, typical for DA. A 1l Nalgene bottle or a bottle of the same capacity fits in easily, everything stays stable. Even when the flap is not closed, the drawstring secures the contents well from falling out.

The cover is made with attention to detail. The materials used, including Cordura 500, seem durable. The elements fit together well. Additionally, the cover is equipped with Molle straps. The design is lightweight, simple, and fastened with a buckle.
