Boker Plus M1874 Shovel

Shovel basing on a German design from 1874, which was standard military equipment. This design has been carefully reproduced in comparison to the historical model, maintaining the traditional form and exceptionally durable construction. This tool is useful not only for digging but also for splitting wood, clearing spaces, prying, and bushcraft work.

The blade is made from durable stainless steel 2Cr13, also used in the production of turbine blades and surgical tools. It is characterized by high resistance to overloads and damage during intensive use. An advantage of the steel is also easy sharpening, even in difficult conditions, which is important for longer survival expeditions or military applications.

The handle is made from durable ash wood, which has long been used for tools requiring high mechanical strength. Ash absorbs vibrations well during work and provides a secure grip even under heavy loads. The construction is additionally reinforced with a steel aglet and a rivet system, ensuring high rigidity of the entire structure.

The case is made from moisture and rot-resistant nylon, which does not require maintenance like traditional leather. The interior is equipped with a rigid insert protecting the blade and improving safety during transport. Two mounting loops allow easy attachment of the shovel to a belt or tactical gear.
