The knee pads are quite large and solidly made, as you would expect from the classic Alta brand. They perform well in use, although they are a bit too big for me. They fit well and do not slip down.
Sturdy knee pads designed by the American brand Alta Industries, offering a high level of protection and comfort during use.
AltaContour AltaLok model is based on a three-segment design, which ensures a good fit to the shape of the leg and great freedom of movement. The flexible shell effectively protects the knees from injury, and the soft part is covered with durable Cordura fabric, resistant to intensive use in the field.
AltaLok fastening system consists of rotating buckles and two adjustable straps, which make it easy to quickly put on and take off the protectors. Wide spacing of the straps prevents the knee pads from shifting and rolling up during movement, which translates into better stability and comfort during prolonged wear.

For a long time I have only been using ALTA knee pads. Even after long hours of work out in the field, I don't feel any discomfort. Once put on and properly fitted, the knee pads don't shift. This really is a high-quality product.

I've tested this product in various weather conditions. It's extremely comfortable. It performs much better than the cheaper multicam versions I own. It doesn't restrict movement during manoeuvres. It provides excellent protection for the knees, both against injuries and against uneven or hard surfaces when kneeling. The material holds up well to repeated washing and the plastic elements are resistant to deep scratches. I definitely recommend it.
