The women's version of the MA-1 jacket in black, made from durable and hard-wearing materials, effectively protects against cold, wind and moisture. Durable materials and reversible design
The outer layer is made of tear-resistant nylon, which effectively protects against wind and moisture. The MA-1 can be worn on both the outside and the inside. The inner part, which is kept in a vivid orange colour scheme, is a solution that refers to the jacket's original function - in an emergency situation, it was to increase the USAF pilots' chances of being quickly found by rescue teams. Nowadays, this practical solution can be useful when walking along the side of an unlit road outside built-up areas.
Thermal strip and elastic cuffs
The main fastening is a one-way zip finished with an eco-leather handle, making it easy to operate even when wearing gloves. An internal thermal strip effectively covers the zip, minimising heat loss. For a better fit and additional protection against the cold, elasticated welts are used at the collar, waist and wrists.
5 pockets
The model is equipped with five functional pockets:
- two front ones closed with patches and snaps,
- two inside with press studs,
- one on the left sleeve, secured with a zip.
On the sleeve, next to the pocket, there is a distinctive Remove Before Flight tag, highlighting the military origin of the jacket. Next to it is a label with the manufacturer's logo.
