I always wanted such a jacket and finally managed to get one. It does its job, has lots of pockets, looks great and makes an impression. I also really like the colour. I'm very happy with it.

A lightweight jacket that is an exact reproduction of the M65 model, which is one of the most popular props of pop culture. It has been used many times in movies and TV series, and has been worn by characters created by such actors as Sylvester Stallone in Rambo, Robert De Niro in Taxi Driver or Bronislaw Cieslak in 07 Come In. It was sewn from a combination of polyester and cotton.
Due to the materials used, the model has a high resistance to mechanical damage and is resistant to rain and snow. The presence of cotton ensures very good air circulation. The fabric is durable, easy to care for and dries quickly.
There are four pockets on the outside - two at hip level and two at chest level. The jacket is also equipped with two internal pockets closed with: a zipper (right) and Velcro (left).
The model is equipped with a zipper, which can be additionally covered with a buttoned strip, which will ensure better temperature maintenance and protect against strong wind penetration. The strip also prevents the zipper from blocking due to the accumulation of dirt, dust, sand and leaves, or even freezing water on it or clumping snow.
The jacket has a stand-up collar for wind protection, with a hood tucked under the zipper. Additional protection from the cold is provided by Velcro adjustable cuffs and two drawstrings - one at waist belt level and the other at the bottom.

One more thing I noticed — the logo by the upper left pocket is sewn on completely differently compared to other Alpha Industries M65s. Recently I looked at the same model in a shop and it seems the material is now thinner and softer. I wonder if the jackets will maintain their quality, or if things will only get worse... Only time will tell.

A jacket truly worth recommending. I'm 185 cm tall, weigh 86 kg, and size M fits perfectly, both with and without the liner. I noticed a few small imperfections, such as a slightly poorly stitched epaulette, but it makes little difference. The price could be lower, as it is often off-putting. But I don't regret buying it! I've had M65s from various manufacturers and this is definitely the best. Let's see how long it lasts, as quality seems to have dropped a bit compared to the one from 20 years ago.

I received my first original Alpha Industries M65 jacket (L) in a parcel from the USA in 1987 and I still have it today. Apart from a slight fading of the colour, which has actually added to its charm, it hasn't lost any quality. The liner is also still in use (it only lost the care instructions patch). Eight years ago, I bought another original M65 jacket from Alpha — with a few subtle changes (e.g. two inside pockets: one with Velcro, the other with a zip) and also with a liner. It's great for autumn, winter and spring as an everyday, informal outfit — irreplaceable.

This is a classic jacket for many years. Unfortunately, the price is high, but in my opinion it's worth buying! The materials and workmanship are great, a few improvements have been made over the original, but it's still a contract-style jacket.

This jacket brings me a lot of joy. I'm sure it will serve me for many years, perhaps even decades. Even without the liner it's very warm — although it's a shame the liner isn't included and has to be purchased separately. However, that's not a big issue because I've heard the liner is less durable than the jacket itself, and besides, you can put a sweatshirt underneath. It has roomy pockets and looks very good. It's resistant to abrasions, doesn't let in wind and is easy to clean, but you have to watch out for resin as it leaves permanent stains — though these only affect the appearance. The jacket also works well in more elegant, though informal outfits — just roll up the sleeves and stand-up collar, and wear it with a shirt or jumper. It even suits the theatre or fancy occasions. In other words, it's a very versatile wardrobe item, not only for outdoor activities. My only issue is the slightly too long sleeves, but you can tighten them with the Velcro, and rolling them up reduces their length.

A good purchase, I definitely recommend it!

The jacket is cool, but I don't understand why it's made in larger sizes. That doesn't match the contract version. Sometimes better is the enemy of good.

This is already a cult jacket. Is it worth paying so much for it? In my opinion, yes. The material is soft and very pleasant to the touch, the stitching is perfect, and there are no loose threads. The zip works very smoothly. For me, the lack of a liner is actually a plus, as I don't use them anyway. I chose size XL for 188 cm height and 116 cm chest — I have plenty of room for a fleece or an extra jacket. I like clothes that don't restrict my movements. I definitely recommend this jacket.

Great jacket, excellent materials — a class of its own.

The jacket is solid, and the fact that someone mentioned production in China shows that good clothes can be sewn there as well. As for the jacket itself, it's a classic — people who know about these things won't pay attention to the price. The workmanship is of a very high standard, after all, it's Alpha. I'm 176 cm tall, 101 cm chest, and I ordered size M. It's a bit loose, but fits perfectly when I wear a sweatshirt underneath. In my opinion, every military enthusiast should have one. The shop service and shipping deserve top marks. I recommend it.

It's not worth following the sizing recommendations, as you might pick one that's too big. Also, Alpha Industries jackets made in China for 799 PLN are, in my view, excessive. However, the workmanship is very good and the model itself is iconic. Compared to the contract version, or even Helikon's, I don't recommend it.

It's a classic, not much more to add. It has lots of pockets and it's very durable.

For me, the only right option is the M65 from Alpha or the contract version — I don't even look at others! Made perfectly according to MILSPEC requirements, but it differs from the contract version in that the liner has two pockets (one with Velcro and one with a zip — which I missed in my previous contract M65) and there is a drawstring in the hood. I chose L/R, ideal for 182 cm height and 115 cm chest, leaving room for a liner. The contract liner in size L fits great — the Alpha one is too expensive, half the price of the M65, while the contract liner can be bought for 50 PLN. I highly recommend it to everyone!

Cybulski never wore the M65 model!
