It is indispensable during service in the field and during maneuvers on the training ground. The most important task of this type of underwear is to wick moisture away from the body. This is important because during physical exertion, such as in sports or tourism, we often have to deal with cold or wind, which can quickly lead to hypothermia. This, of course, has its consequences, we can catch a cold or even, in extreme cases, lead to hypothermia.

Thus, they make sure that it does not come into contact with the skin and does not take away our precious body heat. The second important factor is thermal insulation. When it's cold we choose such thermoactive sets, which, thanks to being made of the right fibers and the right thickness, additionally warm up our body. Then, when it is warmer or when the exertion will be greater, we must decide on the right balance between heating and the speed of transport of moisture to the outside. On hot days, we choose a version of underwear that will be the thinnest and at the same time provide the greatest vapor permeability (breathability).
