It has a long shelf life and tastes slightly better than ground cardboard. It's not amazing, but I didn't buy it for pleasure, only as backup food for emergencies. It fulfils its purpose.

These are good emergency rations where taste isn't the most important thing, but they're edible. Their main advantages are a long shelf life and resilience to tough conditions. I recommend them.

An emergency food ration with a very long shelf life and a lot of calories – excellent for tough situations, such as evacuation or crisis. Due to its composition, it shouldn't be a main part of your everyday diet. It tastes very good. Both the product and the shop are highly recommended.

NRG stands out with an exceptionally long expiry period, which in practice can be extended by a few more years. This was the most important aspect for me, because during a crisis taste will hardly matter.

They're lying in storage, waiting to be used if needed or during tougher times. They're dry and have a malty taste. They're probably not suitable for a romantic dinner. They have a good expiry date, so you can store them for a long time without worry.
