A simple and easy to use sharpening system. Allows even novice users to quickly sharpen any knife.
The multifunctional base is made of durable injection-molded ABS plastic. Specially designed star-shaped holes hold the embedded abrasive rods at a constant 40° angle (20 degrees per side). In addition, they allow the rods to be rotated to take advantage of clean, unused abrasive surfaces. An integrated guard protects the hand during sharpening.
Included in the kit are two white ceramic rods of Fine gradation and two CBN sharpening rods made of borazon (a synthetic abrasive comparable in hardness to diamond, but with greater chemical and heat resistance), which will allow for a comprehensive sharpening of even the most blunt blade.
