Chemical lighting is a light source that does not require any power supply. It can illuminate for up to 12 hours, providing the ability to signal, mark positions or illuminate an area.
The plastic container contains a glass capsule with a chemical substance and a dye that reacts when broken. The combination of the two substances triggers a reaction that results in the lightstick emitting light with a wide angle of 360 degrees.
