Peli Air Case 1615 Transport Case - Black

Black transport case made from a durable and damage-resistant material, patented by Peli as a combination of HPX2 polymer materials. Effectively protects the contents during transport and storage. Model complies with IP67 waterproofing standard, which safeguards against water and dust. Additional protection from mechanical damage and pressure changes ensure safe air transport.

The casing is made from injection-moulded resistant HPX2 resin. The material features high resistance to mechanical damage, deformation, and the effects of moisture, dust, and temperature, while maintaining a low weight. The design, equipped with an O-ring, meets the IP67 waterproofing standard, which means complete protection against dust and protection against water up to a depth of 1 metre for 30 minutes.

The inside cover of the case is lined with elastic shock-absorbing foam, effectively damping shocks and protecting against mechanical damage. The yellow organiser ensures a clear and contrasting layout, which makes it easier to locate equipment in low light. The structure of the inserts allows fitting to the shape of the equipment, improving stability and limiting movement during transport. This solution allows the protection to be customised to the transported equipment, important in the case of delicate, shock-resistant devices.

Reinforced lid closes with three sturdy Press and Pull auto-latch clasps, enabling easy one-handed operation. Additional security is provided by holes that allow the contents to be secured with padlocks. Inside the case, open cargo space allows for any arrangement of the contents. Transport handles with a rubber surface on the longer and shorter sides provide a secure grip, and a retractable transport handle is placed on the shorter side.

The case meets MIL-SPEC certification standards, confirming a high level of protection in transporting sensitive equipment. Resistance includes tests for low temperatures, vibrations, and vertical impacts according to DEF STAN 81-41, used for military equipment.

The case has an automatic pressure equalisation valve, which compensates for pressure differences between the inside and the surroundings, making it easier to open after changes in altitude or temperature. The valve body is made of ABS, and the venting element is made of hydrophobic Hi-Flow Gore-Tex fibre, which supports sealing and reliable protection of equipment in harsh transport conditions.

The case is equipped with wheels made of abrasion-resistant PU, which facilitate movement. Steel ball bearings ensure smooth wheel operation.
