I use the Leatherman Raptor Rescue and I have to admit that it's one of those tools designed for a specific purpose, and it really performs that job excellently. It's not your typical multitool for everything, but specialist rescue shears that do their job perfectly. The main advantage is the incredibly sharp and durable blades, which easily cut through thick fabrics, seat belts, clothing, and synthetic materials. In addition, the scissors are equipped with a seatbelt cutter, an emergency glass breaker, and an oxygen tank wrench, so in any crisis situation, all the necessary functions are at hand without having to look for other tools. The folding system works very smoothly, and when folded, the whole tool becomes compact enough to be conveniently carried on a belt thanks to the included holster. I keep this tool in my travel first aid kit – it's come in handy many times, even for cutting rope, which was very easy. In reality, it's primarily a pair of rescue shears with a few additional features. This isn't equipment for everyday carry – if you're looking for an EDC multitool, look for another model! This tool works perfectly for the situations it's designed for. When folded, it can be conveniently carried in your pocket thanks to a practical clip. There are cheaper alternatives, but ultimately Leatherman stands out for its quality.

The equipment is, as usual, made to a high standard. It makes everyday work easier and also works well after hours. I recommend it to people who value durability of materials and long-term use.

I took the Raptor for my first aid kit and car, because I wanted to have reliable scissors, not "just something for the sake of it". In use, they really cut as they should: clothes, belts, bandages, straps — everything is cut instantly and there is no need to struggle with a knife. Woodland looks impressive, but most importantly, the tool seems reliable and doesn't wobble. The Utility case is also useful, because you can't really carry such things in your pocket. You fasten it to your belt or put it in your bag — and you always know where it is. One small detail: folding/unfolding was unusual at first until I got used to it, and after exposure to dirt or dust it's worth wiping the hinge, because it can get stiffer. Overall, this isn't a "universal tool for all times", but specifically rescue scissors. If you need just such a product, it's a very good choice. If not, then maybe it will just sit unused.

This is a proper tool 'for the job', not just a pocket multitool. The scissors cut very confidently – clothes, straps, bandages, everything goes quickly and it's really convenient when you need to do it without fuss. The holster is also spot on: clip it to your belt and you know exactly where it is, not searching through your backpack. Woodland looks cool, but the main thing here is not the colour, but the fact that the tool is durable and feels reliable. At the same time, it's quite specialised: for 'EDC just in case' it might be excessive and bulky, it's better suited for a first aid kit/car/work use. If you really need good rescue shears – it's a top notch piece of kit.

I have been using them for a long time, and they are definitely the best scissors I've come across. Additionally, I had the opportunity to find out that the guarantee really works – I managed to exchange them when the blade got damaged. The product is extremely practical, takes up little space when folded, and is exceptionally sturdy in everyday use!

As usual, the equipment is solidly made. It performs well both during work and after hours. I recommend it to those who value durable materials and long product life.
