Lightweight and warm socks with merino wool, which is characterized by very good thermoactive properties. Recommended for everyday use and tourism, they will also prove useful during colder days.
The socks have an anatomical cut, so they fit perfectly to the foot and do not twist during use. The flat seams used in them minimize the risk of chafing and do not irritate the skin, making the socks ideal for long hikes. The material of which the socks are made wicks away sweat and has antibacterial, anti-allergenic and odor inhibiting properties.

These are my favourite socks for autumn and winter – they insulate heat well, are comfortable and proved themselves during winter hikes in the Sudetes. Additionally, the price is now lower, so it's worth going for them because the merino quality is excellent.

The socks are very tight, so I wouldn't recommend them for people with wider feet and legs, but the thickness over the whole foot is good – on the calf they are already thinner.

FreeNord Merino Trek socks in black, size 43-46: comfortable, well made and warm. The downside is that the cuff is too tight (foot size 45). Compared to Benon or Pentagon models, this FreeNord model performs worse.

Merino wool thermal socks available at a very good price. If you live in Western Europe like me, merino is still rarely appreciated and too expensive. Fortunately, Militaria.pl offers great, high-quality socks at an attractive price.

I have no complaints about these socks – they have great thermal properties as they're made of merino, perfect for winter. They become a little bit fluffy after washing, but that's a minor flaw. However, the price has increased by 10 PLN, which in my opinion is a bit much.

I finally found merino socks that don't have see-through material on the top of the foot. They're warm and ideal for cooler days. Although they are quite expensive, compared to models from Helicon or Benon, these are the best. I recommend them.

The socks are comfortable and keep you warm. After a few washes they get a bit fuzzy, but generally they serve their function well. I recommend them.
