Thermos with a capacity of 750 ml designed to carry food. Made of high quality BPA-free stainless steel. The offered model uses excellent thermal insulation (for hot as well as cold substances) with high resistance to mechanical damage. The matte non-slip coating gives a firm grip even with thick gloves.
The wide filler makes it much easier to fill and wash the vessel.
To get the most out of the features offered by its food thermos, Esbit suggests "formatting" the thermos before use. If you plan to transport hot things - before placing them in the thermos, fill it with hot water for about 4 minutes, then pour out the water and place the food. An analogy should be made for cool things (fill the thermos with very cold water). This way the desired temperature is maintained for longer.
A noteworthy solution is the use of a safety valve button in the design of the cap - pressing it before unscrewing the cap releases excess pressure (often created during the storage of a hot meal/liquid) virtually eliminating the risk of "shooting" the cap or hot steam, which is sometimes accompanied by hot contents splashing to the sides.
The product passed a performance test in which the contents of the thermos were water at 98ºC. The test was conducted at 20ºC (+/- 2ºC). As a result of the tests, the water temperature was after:
- 6 hours - 70ºC,
- 12 hours - 60ºC,
- 24 hours - 40ºC.

Tested outdoors during cool, autumn weather and a long walk – it kept warmth inside very well, and meals stayed hot. The safety valve is also very practical as it protects against accidental burns. I definitely recommend it!

I have some reservations – before use I preheat it with boiling water, put in a warm meal, but after 4 hours it is already cold. Next time I'll choose a 0.5-litre model, as this one is a bit too tall. The lid and the base bend slightly on the edges, so a more rounded shape would be better.
