Thermos with a capacity of 750 ml designed to transport food. Constructed from high-quality, BPA-free stainless steel. This model boasts outstanding thermal insulation (effective for both hot and cold contents) along with excellent durability against mechanical damage. The matte non-slip coating ensures a secure grip even when wearing thick gloves.
The wide opening simplifies both filling and cleaning of the container.
To maximize the features of the food thermos, Esbit advises "formatting" the thermos prior to usage. For transporting hot items, pre-fill it with hot water for about 4 minutes, then empty it before placing your food. Use a similar approach for cold items by filling the thermos with very cold water. This method helps maintain the desired temperature for a longer duration.
A notable feature is the safety valve button on the cap design—pressing it before unscrewing releases excess pressure (which often builds up during hot meal/liquid storage), reducing the risk of the cap "popping" or hot steam escaping, which at times causes splashes of hot contents.
This product underwent a performance test with contents of the thermos initially being water at 98ºC. The test environment was maintained at 20ºC (+/- 2ºC). The water temperature results were as follows:
- 6 hours - 70ºC,
- 12 hours - 60ºC,
- 24 hours - 40ºC.

Tested outdoors in cool, autumn weather and during a long march – it did a great job keeping warmth inside, the food stayed hot. The safety valve is also very practical, protecting against accidental burns. I definitely recommend it!

I have some reservations – before use I heat it with boiling water, put in a warm meal, but after 4 hours it is already cold. Next time I will choose 0.5 capacity, because this model is a bit too tall. The lid and the bottom bend slightly at the edges, so a more rounded shape would be better.
