Eberlestock X2 Backpack 40.2 l - Mirage
A backpack with a capacity of 40.2 litres, made from durable microsuede leather covered with a waterproof DWR coating. It features an Intex aluminium frame, ensuring stable carrying of heavy gear while maintaining user comfort. The expanded MOLLE/PALS system and compression straps allow for attachment of additional equipment.
Ergonomic carrying system and frame
The aluminium frame is characterised by high strength and rigidity, enabling the transport of heavy loads. This ensures even weight distribution, relieving the spine during long hikes. The back panel is lined with soft spacer mesh, enhancing airflow and breathability. The backpack is equipped with an adjustable hip and chest strap with buckles.
Expanded mounting system
The backpack's exterior features wide compression straps, allowing for stable attachment of additional gear and size reduction based on the amount of equipment being carried. The main compartment, sides, and bottom of the backpack are equipped with MOLLE/PALS webbing, allowing for the attachment of additional pouches.
Well- thought-out pocket arrangement
The backpack includes fold-out side wings with spacious pockets. Access to the main compartment is available through both the top flap with a drawstring closure and a front zip. Inside, there is a separate compartment for a hydration insert. Elastic side pockets provide quick access to small accessories and facilitate equipment organisation.

Camouflage Mirage
Doppel:Ganger is Eberlestock's proprietary line of camouflages, using a double-image technique in which an abstract veil layer is superimposed over a classic pattern of stains alluding to the natural surroundings. The depth and contrast effect makes it difficult to pick up the silhouette, forcing the eye to focus on one of the layers, increasing the effectiveness of the camouflage.
The Mirage variant is based on earthy colors with stark contrasts, inspired by the natural tones of dry steppes and semi-desert landscapes. It works well in mountainous, grassy and desert environments, as well as in the open spaces of Southern and Eastern Europe. Its wide tonal range makes it an alternative to desert-steppe patterns such as A-TACS AU and WASP I Z1B.
