A practical and comfortable backpack with many pockets. For me, there are a bit too many, but that's the model I chose, even though I don't need that many compartments. The material is durable, and the workmanship is of a high standard. The backpack seems to be very sturdy.
Badger Outdoor Recon 25 l Backpack Olive
Patrol backpack with a capacity of 25 litres is designed for versatile use - from tourism and survival to everyday urban wear. Comfortable use is ensured by the carry system with contoured shoulder straps, waist belt and fastex quick-release buckles, which significantly improve carrying comfort. Four pockets, two main compartments and the MOLLE webbing system facilitate organisation and increase the functionality of the backpack.
convenient storage system - 2 main compartments, numerous pockets
The Recon 25L model has four main pockets, which allow excellent storage of equipment. Two compartments are designed for larger items such as a sleeping bag, food or clothing. The larger compartment has an additional flat zipped pocket, ideal for smaller items. The smaller compartment features a flat pocket and two mesh pockets for easy organisation and quick access to smaller items.
On the front of the backpack, there are two additional pockets - a lower, larger one and an upper, smaller one - for small accessories. The lower pocket is equipped with an organiser for documents and keys, while the upper pocket is great for carrying a phone, glasses or navigation devices.
Dedicated pocket for Hydration System
There is a velcro-closed compartment on the back of the backpack for the hydration system. It allows you to conveniently store a supply of water, providing quick access to hydration without having to pull out bottles. This pocket is discreetly located and well protected, which protects the cartridge from damage while moving in the field.
Robust Zips, MOLLE System, d-rings
All pockets in the backpack are closed with thick, spiral double zips, which guarantees their smooth operation and durability.
The backpack is also equipped with the MOLLE webbing system - the webbing on the front and sides of the backpack allows additional equipment to be attached. D-rings on the shoulder straps allow additional tactical accessories to be attached.
Compression straps and size adjustment
The Recon 25L features compression straps that allow the backpack to be sized to fit its contents. These straps are located on the sides, bottom and top of the backpack, allowing it to be flattened for better stability and a neater look, even when partially loaded.
Contoured self-adjusting shoulder straps, detachable waist belt
The backpack has an advanced carry system that provides comfort and stability. The profiled harness, which is finished with QD (Quick Detachment) fastex attachments, allow the backpack to be quickly dropped when needed. In addition, the adjustable shoulder straps allow for a perfect fit, while the chest strap and detachable hip belt increase comfort when carrying heavier loads.

Very good backpack at a good price. Solid finish, numerous pockets and compartments, quite a large capacity, and at the same time it remains compact thanks to the compression straps.
-
First I bought the Badger Outdoor Recon 25L Coyote backpack for my fiancée as hand luggage for a plane, but I liked it so much that now I have my own one too. It's great that you can compress this backpack in any way you like. I definitely recommend it.
-
I use the backpack every day; it's very spacious with many pockets and compartments. The hip belt could be longer. I found it difficult to adjust the rear straps. For this price, it's a really successful backpack for both everyday and shorter trips.
-
Good backpack for daily use due to its size. Unfortunately, after a few days the seams came apart in the top outer pocket (there was only a wallet inside). I didn't treat this as a reason to complain, although I've only been using it for a short time and otherwise I have no objections. I'll see how it holds up in the future.
-
I bought it recently – it looks good, at first glance you can see solid workmanship and lots of pockets. As for durability, I'll find out while using it. I recommend it – really worth it for the price.
-
The price-quality ratio is good. The backpack is spacious, but the rating drops for too narrow straps. Furthermore, the straps tend to roll up when putting on because they are not attached to the belts.
-
I bought this backpack for hunting and it's very comfortable to carry on my back. I didn't know that the straps aren't sewn along their entire length, which allows you to attach the backpack to a vest instead of carrying it on your back. The capacity is fully sufficient for my hunting needs, and if necessary it will also work as a child's backpack. I am very happy with the purchase.
-
An average rucksack – lots of straps that need to be adjusted each time, which is not very practical. I bought it because it was cheap, but it doesn't impress.
-
The backpack is very poor quality; after two years of use it breaks – the straps snap, the rubber inside crumbles and the material gets damaged. I had two backpacks from this company and both were ruined in a similar way. Suitable at most for occasional use.
-
The backpack met my expectations. Good value for money. Spacious, comfortable, strong zips and interesting camouflage. Badger positively surprises me as a Polish manufacturer operating at a high level.
-
Overall, the backpack is fine, although it has a few unusual features. It looks good and fits a lot of items despite its compact size. Unfortunately, after a few weeks the inner layer started to peel off, which someone else has already mentioned – I can confirm this. However, the outer material is solid. The straps are of different lengths – some are too long, others too short. The backpack fits well, is lightweight and attractively priced on promotion, but I wouldn't recommend it at a higher price.
-
After a year of use, the backpack started to peel from the inside. In those spots the material becomes very thin. I definitely wouldn't recommend it for survival, maybe only for a one-off trip.
-
This is my second backpack of this type. I used the first one every day for 7 years. The backpack is small but roomy and has well-planned pockets. The chest and hip straps could be a bit longer. I rate it very highly.
-
This backpack turned out to be excellent. The large number of pockets allows you to conveniently carry various items. The possibility to fit a Camelback system and adjustments at the lumbar and chest make the backpack fit the body perfectly. I definitely recommend it.
