Mil-Tec ECWCS Wet Weather Gen.II Fleece Jacket - Phantomleaf WASP I Z2

The second-generation ECWCS waterproof jacket is made of a three-layer laminate that provides effective protection against wind and water. At the same time, the fabric is vapor-permeable, which reduces the risk of overheating during activities that require increased exertion.

The jacket's outer layer is made of 96% polyester with 4% elastane. A breathable polyurethane membrane is placed inside. Under the jacket there is a detachable, warm fleece liner. Thanks to the bolster, the jacket can be worn not only in autumn and spring, but also in winter. The Wet Weather model features a snow apron to prevent snow from getting under the jacket.

The jacket is equipped with seven pockets:
- two large hip pockets with waterproof zipper,
- two Velcro pockets on the sleeve with waterproof zipper,
- a large pocket with Velcro closure in the lining at the back,
- two side zippered pockets in the lining.

The jacket is fastened with a two-way YKK zipper, which has been additionally secured with a double slat. Air circulation is supported by air vents under the armpits, closed with zippers.

The jacket is also equipped with a two-way YKK zipper.

The high collar and hood effectively protect the head and neck from the cold and wind. The cuffs are fastened with velcro velcro, which allows you to adjust their size and fit the thickness of the user's wrist. All seams in the outer jacket are glued.

The cuffs of the outer jacket are also glued.

WASP I is an innovative line of PHANTOMLEAF® CIV-TEC® camouflage patterns designed specifically for MIL-TEC®. PHANTOMLEAF® camouflage patterns are created through advanced digital image analysis of the terrain in which the variant is designed to provide camouflage. The algorithm used also takes motion and other variables into account, making the patterns well adaptive over a wide range of conditions. At the same time, PHANTOMLEAF® camouflages are distinctive enough to guarantee good identification of "one's-another" within a group of soldiers on the battlefield. 

The WASP I Z2 variant will perform best among dry vegetation, on steppes and in semi-desert and even partially rocky terrain. At the same time, in the temperate zone it will find use in forested and rural areas from late summer to late autumn. An innovative alternative to such camouflages as MultiCam, Arid MC Camo or Pentacamo.
