The Olive Green fleece jacket, complete with a zip closure, provides efficient thermal insulation in cooler conditions while facilitating the escape of excess heat and moisture created during strenuous activity. The Helikon-Tex Patriot model is crafted from high-density fleece with a weight of 380 g/m2. Its roomy design accommodates additional layers underneath, such as lighter sweatshirts or thermal clothing. The slightly extended back area effectively protects the kidney region from wind, while the jacket's length is optimized to allow easy access to pockets and gear worn on the belt.
Breathable fleece
The fleece consists of 100% quick-drying polyester with a density of 380 g/m2, offering excellent thermal insulation and efficient airflow. These qualities ensure the fabric quickly draws moisture away, keeping the body warm. Known for its toughness and resistance to wear and tear, the fabric is ideal for challenging conditions like hiking or tactical missions. Reinforced elbows enhance resistance against abrasion and intensive use.
Adjustable hood
A spacious, enclosed hood effectively protects against cold and wind, allowing for the comfortable use of a winter hat while maintaining freedom of movement. The built-in soft brim safeguards the face from dripping water, enhancing comfort in unfavorable weather. Secured permanently to the collar, the hood provides complete neck protection when in use. Elastic drawcords offer adjustment, ensuring a precise fit to the head's shape and the user's current needs.
Roomy pockets
The jacket features six generous and meticulously crafted pockets:
- two pockets on the chest,
- two sleeve pockets positioned at shoulder level,
- one pocket on the left forearm,
- one pass-through pocket located at the back just above the hips.
All the pockets are secured by robust and dependable YKK zippers. These zippers are equipped with fabric pull tabs, facilitating easier use even when wearing bulky gloves. Inside the chest pockets, there is a section for a phone and cable openings, suitable for headphones.
Velcro panels, adjustable cuffs and elastic waistband
Both shoulders incorporate Velcro panels, perfect for affixing patches, unit insignia, or Morale Patches. The sleeves feature hook-and-loop cuffs that can be adjusted to ensure a precise fit around the wrists. An elastic drawcord at the jacket's lower section provides effective protection against cold drafts from below and aids in retaining warmth.

Great product, but it doesn't fully meet expectations. The fleece is very well made, has plenty of pockets (including a poacher's pocket), and the additional panels are an interesting feature. However, it is surprisingly heavy. I expected it to be warmer given its weight and material. It lets wind through quite easily. In my opinion, the sleeves are a bit too wide, and I would have preferred them to be more fitted. It might be difficult to fit under other jackets because of its size and thickness, so the outer jacket must be loose. However, worn on its own or combined with something like the Tramontane Wind Pack, it's excellent for wind protection.

Great and durable fleece. It's perfect for colder seasons. The material is sturdy and exceptionally pleasant to the touch. The fleece fits the body perfectly and doesn't restrict freedom of movement. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT FOR SLIM PEOPLE The fleece is thick and provides a lot of warmth, but its cut is so unflattering that, in my opinion, it's completely unsuitable for people with a BMI below 25. You can clearly see this in the photos. Sweatshirt size M My body type: 180 cm tall, weight between 65 and 70 kg Description of the photos: 1. Too much material on the sleeves 2. Appearance of the sweatshirt when zipped up 3. So much excess material that you can wrap yourself up in it like in a bathrobe 4. Zipped sweatshirt from the side 5. Zipped sweatshirt from the side showing the excess material The sweatshirt does not have hand pockets, but instead has an impractical pocket on the back. The sweatshirt is extremely "oversized," even for outdoor clothing. The sleeves are very wide and move with every motion, and the amount of material on the torso allows you to wrap yourself up in it like a bathrobe. Size M is so loose I could easily wear another sweatshirt or a thin jacket underneath, but size S would be too short and would expose my stomach, while still not fitting closely to my body. If the sleeves were narrowed by about 1/4 and the body circumference by about 1/3, the sweatshirt would be great—in its current form, it's at best average. The M size is more like an American L. I bought it on sale for 250 PLN, but I think the real value is at most 200 PLN. If it weren't for the very harsh winter and the need to immediately buy something warm to wear under a jacket, I definitely wouldn't have chosen it.

I bought this sweatshirt mainly for its practicality, numerous pockets, and thick fabric. I immediately tested it in severe frost – as an extra layer under a light jacket, it worked excellently and kept me warm at -18°C. The stitching quality is great, nothing unravels or falls off. Size M turned out to be a bit too short for my height of 174 cm, while size L is a bit looser, but works perfectly as an outer layer.
