The Spitfire Plate Carrier model is made from laser-cut laminate, durable and wear-resistant Cordura 500D, and softshell. The design allows for unrestricted movement, and its modularity enables optimal adaptation to user requirements.
solid construction, hypalon handles
The use of durable, flexible hypalon handles facilitates vest adjustment and makes it easy to use. These handles also provide quick medical access in emergency situations and are resistant to abrasion, tearing, and extreme temperatures. The design allows for secure cable routing near the plate pockets and the Cummerbund. The front flap can be attached directly to the vest or using Chest Rig type buckles (compatible with Mayflower/Velocity, HSP, and others), and the vest can also be worn without the flap. The interchangeable Cummerbund has space for side plates. The back panel is compatible with the Crye Precision AVS system thanks to zippers. The vest also features a reinforced evacuation handle.

PenCott BadLands camouflage
PenCott is a modern 2nd generation digital camouflage system developed by the British company Hyde Definition. It features a multi-layer pattern structure, including micro, mezo, and macro patterns.
PenCott BadLands is a camouflage version created for operations in dry, semi-open areas such as steppes, shrubs, grassy terrains, and hilly transitional areas. Designed with environments dominated by faded vegetation, dry soil, and varied lighting in mind. The pattern is based on the same structure as other PenCott camouflages, combining realistic color noise, dense micro-pattern, and contrasting elements that deform the silhouette. Laser Cut System
LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.

This was one of the last items I needed to complete my kit. The vest is very comfortable and sturdy. The only downside is the lack of a quick-release cord, but other than that it performs excellently – I rate it 10/10.

It's a bit small, it doesn't cover the belly button or kidneys, but I think that's how it's supposed to be. Besides, it's easy to put on and take off, and it's also very light.

There is no need to advertise the quality of Direct Action equipment – it is one of the best brands in this price category. The vest is comfortable, and the material on the inside does a much better job of wicking away heat than typical foam with mesh. The adjustment system is quick and easy, and the ballistic plates hold in place very well. I highly recommend it.
