The Spitfire Plate Carrier model is made from laser-cut laminate, durable and abrasion-resistant 500D Cordura, as well as softshell. The design does not restrict movement, making it easy to adjust to the user's individual needs.
solid construction, hypalon handles
Thanks to the use of durable and flexible hypalon handles, vest adjustment is quick and effortless. The handles also provide easy medical access in emergency situations and are resistant to abrasion, tears, and extreme temperatures. The vest's design facilitates the safe routing of cables at the plate pockets and Cummerbund. The front flap is attached directly to the vest or with Chest Rig-type buckles (compatible with Mayflower/Velocity, HSP systems, and others), with the option to use the vest without a flap. The replaceable Cummerbund is equipped with a compartment for side plates. The rear panel offers compatibility with the Crye Precision AVS system thanks to the zippers. Additionally, the vest is equipped with a reinforced evacuation handle.

Laser Cut System
LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.

This was one of the last items I needed to complete my kit. The vest is very comfortable and sturdy. The only downside is the lack of a quick-release cord, but other than that it performs excellently – I rate it 10/10.

It's a bit small, it doesn't cover the belly button or kidneys, but I think that's how it's supposed to be. Besides, it's easy to put on and take off, and it's also very light.

There is no need to advertise the quality of Direct Action equipment – it is one of the best brands in this price category. The vest is comfortable, and the material on the inside does a much better job of wicking away heat than typical foam with mesh. The adjustment system is quick and easy, and the ballistic plates hold in place very well. I highly recommend it.
