The Spitfire Plate Carrier model is made from laser-cut laminate, durable, abrasion-resistant 500D Cordura, and softshell. Its design does not limit freedom of movement, and its modularity allows for flexible adaptation to the user's specific needs.

The use of durable and flexible hypalon handles facilitates and speeds up the adjustment of the vest. They also allow for quick medical access in case of the need to provide assistance. They are resistant to abrasion, tears, and extreme temperatures. The vest allows protective cable routing around the plate pockets and Cummerbund. The front flap can be attached directly to the vest or using Chest Rig type buckles (compatible with Mayflower/Velocity, HSP, and other systems), and configuration without the flap is also possible. The interchangeable Cummerbund has space for side plates. The rear panel is compatible with the Crye Precision AVS system thanks to the use of zippers. The vest is also equipped with a reinforced evacuation handle.

Laser Cut System
LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.

This was one of the last items I needed to complete my kit. The vest is very comfortable and sturdy. The only downside is the lack of a quick-release cord, but other than that it performs excellently – I rate it 10/10.

It's a bit small, it doesn't cover the belly button or kidneys, but I think that's how it's supposed to be. Besides, it's easy to put on and take off, and it's also very light.

There is no need to advertise the quality of Direct Action equipment – it is one of the best brands in this price category. The vest is comfortable, and the material on the inside does a much better job of wicking away heat than typical foam with mesh. The adjustment system is quick and easy, and the ballistic plates hold in place very well. I highly recommend it.
