Great kitchen knife, since I have it, I don't use other knives anymore. It has a comfortable, non-slip handle, good balance, and blade shape. It cuts very conveniently and is really versatile. The 4116 steel is quite solid (although some people joke it's too soft). You'd think a knife is a simple thing, but details play a big role – C.S. really knows their stuff. It easily handles slicing tomatoes. The set includes a sheath, so you can easily take it camping and prepare meals outdoors.

A comfortable knife for everyday use in the kitchen. It sharpens easily and stays sharp for a long time. It's worth trying – for me, it worked very well as a complement to my other knives.

I think Cold Steel brand fillet knives are excellent! This 8-inch model is very long and complemented my kitchen set perfectly. However, I most often use a shorter knife for filleting, so that's a suggestion for those just starting out with filleting.
