The usage temperatures of the Carinthia Tropen sleeping bag are defined according to EN 13537:
- T-comfort: 9.4 C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: 5.1 C – the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -7.9 C – the lowest temperature for survival. Not recommended for regular use.
Shelltrans material
The outer layer is crafted from lightweight, water-resistant Shelltrans fabric, which loosely envelops the inner layer, creating an effective insulation barrier. Designed with polyamide, the interior is renowned for its low moisture absorption and enhanced resistance to mechanical damage.
G-Loft filling, Thermoflect
The interior is stuffed with synthetic G-Loft insulation, which aids in keeping a consistent temperature.
