Temperature and usage conditions
The Carinthia Tropen sleeping bag's operational temperatures are specified in accordance with EN 13537:
- T-comfort: 9.4°C – the minimum temperature at which a woman can rest comfortably overnight,
- T-limit: 5.1°C – the lowest temperature at which a man can sleep without experiencing discomfort,
- T-extreme: -7.9°C – the minimum temperature for survival. Not advisable for frequent use.
Shelltrans material
Crafted from lightweight and water-resistant Shelltrans fabric, the outer layer loosely envelopes the inner layer to create an efficient insulation barrier. The interior features polyamide, recognized for its minimal moisture absorption and superior resistance to mechanical damage.
G-Loft filling, Thermoflect
Inside, the sleeping bag features synthetic G-Loft insulation, which aids in keeping a consistent temperature. This material sustains its insulating capability even after extensive use, laundering, or when exposed to moisture. Additionally, the Thermoflect layer boosts insulation by reflecting the body's heat back into the sleeping bag.

Great sleeping bag for summer nights or indoor use. It's quite light and has compact dimensions. The mesh doesn't work very well when it touches your face. In terms of parameters, it is similar to the Snugpak Elite 1.
