The sleeping bag is definitely worth its price. Very warm and pleasant to the touch. Top quality. The zipper in the middle is a great solution, especially for people sleeping in a hammock. Tested on the ground at minus 3 degrees, and wearing only underwear, it provided thermal comfort. If it ever gets damaged, I know I will buy it again, I don't need to look for anything else. Although it is not ultralight, for Polish conditions and low mountains, this might be my last sleeping bag.

Durable sleeping bag in Woodland camouflage, mummy-shaped to ensure a relaxed body position and ease of movement while sleeping. Constructed from premium polyamide, featuring a sturdy exterior and filled with synthetic G-Loft.
Temperature range and usage conditions
The Defence 4 sleeping bag's operational temperature range is determined according to the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: -8.8 C – this value indicates the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep throughout the entire night.
- T-limit: -15 C – the minimum temperature at which a man can rest without experiencing discomfort.
- T-extreme: -35 C – the critical temperature for survival inside the sleeping bag. Regular use is not recommended.
G-Loft insulation, Thermoflect
The interior of the sleeping bag is padded with G-Loft synthetic down, which effectively maintains thermal comfort. This insulating material retains its properties even after exposure to water, frequent washing, or heavy use. The Thermoflect layer works by reflecting body heat back inside, enhancing the insulation. The outer shell is more spacious and does not adhere directly to the inner layer, creating an additional thermal barrier.
Sleeping Bag System - Tropen
The Defence 4 model serves as an outer thermal layer when paired with other sleeping bags. This setup enhances thermal efficiency, facilitates moisture wicking, and ensures warmth in temperatures as low as -20°C. The Sleeping Bag System - Tropen technology and contemporary materials contribute to its lightweight nature and compactness when packed.
Central zipper, Anti Snag system
The sleeping bag comes with a centrally located two-way zipper, enabling it to open completely. The Anti Snag system ensures that the fabric doesn't catch in the zipper. An insulated draft tube runs along the zipper to keep cold air at bay. At the top of the zipper, a Velcro flap is included to prevent unintentional opening. The trapezoidal footbox design provides additional space for the feet while enhancing heat retention.
Integrated hood for cold protection
The model features a contoured hood with an adjustable face opening, which can be customized with drawcords to improve protection against the cold.
Easy transport and storage
When folded, the sleeping bag occupies minimal space—25 x 30 cm—and weighs 1850 g, allowing for easy portability and reducing the load of gear.

The sleeping bag stands out for its high quality, and thanks to the synthetic G-loft filling, it can be kept in a compression sack much longer than traditional down sleeping bags. G-loft does not clump and does not absorb moisture like natural down. Overall, the sleeping bag performs well in tougher conditions, is carefully made, and is trouble-free to use. I highly recommend it.

Durable and well-insulating sleeping bag. It works great in spring and autumn. It provides a lot of comfort during sleep. If you often sleep in a tent, it is definitely worth buying. I definitely recommend it.
