The sleeping bag is definitely worth its price. Very warm and pleasant to the touch. Top quality. The zipper in the middle is a great solution, especially for people sleeping in a hammock. Tested on the ground at minus 3 degrees, and wearing only underwear, it provided thermal comfort. If it ever gets damaged, I know I will buy it again, I don't need to look for anything else. Although it is not ultralight, for Polish conditions and low mountains, this might be my last sleeping bag.

Temperature range and usage conditions
The Defence 4 sleeping bag's operational temperatures are specified based on the EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: -8.8°C – this is the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep soundly throughout the night.
- T-limit: -15°C – this is the minimum temperature where a man can rest without experiencing discomfort.
- T-extreme: -35°C – this is the lowest temperature for survival inside the sleeping bag. Regular use in these conditions is not advised.
G-Loft insulation, Thermoflect
The interior of the sleeping bag is filled with G-Loft synthetic down, which effectively supports thermal comfort. The insulating material maintains its properties even after exposure to water, washing, or heavy use. The Thermoflect layer reflects body heat and retains it inside, enhancing insulation performance. The outer shell is larger and doesn't adhere directly to the interior, creating an additional thermal barrier.
Sleeping Bag System - Tropen
The Defence 4 model serves as an outer thermal layer when paired with other sleeping bags. This setup enhances thermal efficiency, aids in moisture wicking, and boosts thermal comfort down to -20°C. Central zipper, Anti Snag system
The sleeping bag is designed with a centrally located two-way zipper for complete opening. The Anti Snag system prevents fabric from snagging on the zipper. An insulated draft tube runs along the zipper to keep out cold air. A Velcro flap at the zipper's top prevents accidental unzipping. The trapezoidal footbox design provides more space for feet and enhances heat retention.
Integrated hood for cold protection
The model features a shaped hood with an adjustable face opening, which can be customized using drawcords to improve protection against the cold.

The sleeping bag stands out for its high quality, and thanks to the synthetic G-loft filling, it can be kept in a compression sack much longer than traditional down sleeping bags. G-loft does not clump and does not absorb moisture like natural down. Overall, the sleeping bag performs well in tougher conditions, is carefully made, and is trouble-free to use. I highly recommend it.
