Military Rye Bread with 24 month shelf life - 3 x 700 g
A set containing 3 loaves of rye bread weighing 700 g each. The bread is made from rye flour and wheat flour. Its long shelf life of 24 months allows for extended storage. The outer packaging, consisting of two layers of foil, effectively protects against moisture and other adverse external conditions, preserving the taste throughout the storage period. This type of bread has been used many times by the Polish Armed Forces during peacekeeping operations and by the Civil Defence services during natural disasters.
Long shelf life and refreshing methods
The extended shelf life of up to 24 months allows for long-term storage. The packaging consisting of two layers of foil effectively protects the product against moisture and other external factors, while guaranteeing that the taste is preserved throughout the entire storage period.
Bread within its shelf life can be easily refreshed in various ways:
- in the microwave - after removing the outer foil, place the loaf in the microwave for 3 minutes at 900 W, then remove the inner foil and slice the bread,
- in the oven - after removing the outer foil, place the loaf in an oven preheated to 90-100 deg. C for about 30 minutes, after removing the inner foil and cooling, cut the bread,
- in a toaster - after removing both foils, cut the bread and place it in the toaster,
- in water - immerse the bread with the foil in water at a temperature of 90 deg. C for about 30 minutes, after cooling, remove from the foil, cut after another 20 minutes,
- in a chemical flameless heater - without removing the foil, place the loaf in the heater, pour the appropriate amount of water over the chemical insert.
