The torch is excellent. It shines exactly as it should and doesn’t have unnecessary modes that no one uses. For that, I give it top marks. If only it had a clip and lanyard holder, I would be completely satisfied. However, the biggest drawback is the holster, which comes undone from the tactical belt very easily – I’ve had to pick it up from the ground several times, for example while getting out of the patrol car, bending down or crouching, meaning during normal duty activities. Despite this flaw, I recommend the torch, and I suggest to the manufacturer to change the holster to a traditional version or at least offer it as an alternative.

Olight Javelot Mini Tactical Torch Antique Bronze - 1000 lumens
A compact and lightweight tactical torch, equipped with a high-performance High Performance LED and PMMA TIR optics (lens/collimator), generates a light output of 1000 lumens. Like other models in the Javelot series, it features a strongly focused beam, resulting in an impressive effective range of up to 600 meters.
Aluminum body, IPX8 waterproof rating
The sturdy housing with a non-slip texture is made of aerospace-grade aluminum A6061-T6 and coated with hard anodization Type III. Thanks to the use of the O-ring system, the torch is fully sealed, ensuring water resistance at the level of IPX-8 (resistant to immersion beyond 1 meter). The head is protected by a steel bezel, while the LED is shielded by a durable lens resistant to mechanical damage and thermal shock.
Control electronics
Advanced electronics control the current supplied to the high-performance LED, ensuring a constant brightness level in the selected mode until the battery is completely discharged. An electronic system protects against overheating in the highest mode by reducing the current after 6.5 minutes, lowering the brightness to 500 lumens, and after 78 minutes to 200 lumens.
The rear switch allows for changing torch modes and also serves as a magnetic charging port. Thanks to the built-in magnet, the torch can also be attached to steel surfaces.
18500 battery with a capacity of 2040 mAh, vibration discharge alert
The power source is a 3.6V 18500 battery with a capacity of 2040mAh, which can be charged directly in the torch using the magnetic Olight MCC-1A USB charger (included in the set) or the Olight MCC3. These batteries ensure stable operation across a wide temperature range and have no tendency for self-discharge, providing a lifespan of up to 10 years. Thanks to these properties, they are ideal for military, law enforcement, rescue, and survival applications. Repeating vibrations indicate a low charge level, with increasing intensity as energy decreases.
The battery is covered by a one-year warranty.
Reinforced nylon holster
Comfortable carrying is ensured by a rigid holster with a clip, included in the set. It allows the torch to be attached to the edge of a pocket or gear strap, providing quick and convenient access to a light source in any situation.

A brilliantly made product. There is no smell or patina effect as you get with real bronze. The torch is compact and has a long range. Both the build quality and the interface are top-notch. Charging with the dedicated charger is very convenient. I definitely recommend it.
