Steel mug MFH US Army Canteen with a folding handle 0.5 l

The mug is very solid, well made and resistant to impacts and high temperatures. It is heavier, but much better than an aluminium mug. I plan to buy another soon, definitely with a lid. Placed directly on glowing wood, it can boil half a litre of water in about 10 minutes. I definitely recommend this mug together with the lid and canteen – it’s the perfect set both for solo outings and home use.

It looks durable. Packed in a rucksack for trips and just in case. Better to have and not need, than need and not have. I think for this price, it's a very worthwhile purchase.

Very well made, steel is steel – together with the dedicated MFH lid and stand, it makes an excellent set for cooking and heating. Highly recommended.

The capacity is fine, the material is good, and it has folding handles. The biggest plus for me is the possibility of buying a matching lid and stand, and the shape allows you to fit a one-litre canteen inside. Together, it makes a great, compact set for your rucksack. The only downside is the slightly sharp edges, but overall the product is faultless.

A decent mug, tested today – perfect for coffee or boiling water. It's worth buying the MFH lid, which fits quite tightly and is removed just as easily, which is an advantage – thanks to this, you can take the mug off the fire even if the handles are very hot. It's also useful for preparing small meals and fits a canteen modelled after the US Army one.

The mug is excellent and its capacity easily holds 700 ml – you can easily cook 100 grams of rice in it. Together with the lid, it's perfect for camping or the forest. Worth the price – the steel and workmanship quality are at a high level. Its shape allows you to easily put the mug in the fire and take it out using two sticks.

The set consisting of the MFH mug, lid and stand, together with the Nalgene Oasis 1L bottle in an M-Tac pouch mounted on a Wisport Sparrow 30L rucksack with the molle system really appealed to me. In my opinion, it's the best possible set. I wholeheartedly recommend this kit.

A decent mug for boiling water or heating meals. Made of stainless steel, not aluminium, so you can heat anything in it. It makes a good set with a lid and a stand serving as a stove.

My old, original mug was a bit worn out, so I bought this model. Fits the Nalgene canteen well, although it's hard to fit both together in the original Alice cover. The edges of the mug are a little sharp, they don't hurt your lips but they can be risky for your hands – I sanded them and now it's fine.
