Original Morale Patch made of PVC depicting an undead Scandinavian warrior. The skeleton wields an axe in his hand, wears a Thor's hammer pendant around his neck, and his skull is protected by a Vendel-type helmet. The emblem is equipped with a one-sided Velcro strap, so that it can be attached to clothing, backpack or items of equipment.
Morale Patch patches are worn by soldiers and other services alongside patches specific to their own unit to "boost morale." They are a kind of identifying and unifying element for the group and are part of soldier humor.
