The tactical pocket is made of durable and abrasion-resistant Cordura 500D material. The capacious compartment is fastened with a two-way YKK zipper. Two drainage holes are placed on the bottom to wick away moisture.
Compatibility with the MOLLE/PALS mounting system means that the pocket can be mounted on a tactical vest, belt, backpack or bag. A velcro (velcro ) panel on the front allows you to attach any emblems, such as the national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches.
The name MM-14 is an abbreviation for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and the year 2014, when the camouflage was officially approved. The pattern refers to the American UCP camouflage, but shades were chosen to match the colors naturally found on Ukrainian territory. The introduction of the MM-14 camouflage pattern was an important part of the Ukrainian army's reform to break with post-Soviet identification. Unofficially, the MM14 camouflage also goes by the names Ukrainian Pixel Camo and Ukrainian Digital Camo.
