Magla universal hammock mosquito net from the Polish brand Lesovik. It features a design resembling an inverted envelope. This makes the mosquito net extremely versatile. And although it was designed with hammocks in mind, it also works perfectly in a set that includes camp beds, cots, or beds in hostels in remote corners of the world.

When used with a hammock, the mosquito net can be used in two ways:
- by closing it from the bottom using a sewn-in drawstring (creating a "cocoon"),
- by staking it to the ground using 4 loops attached to the bottom edge (creating a "tent").

The "cocoon" provides high protection against insects while allowing you to quickly exit the hammock without having to struggle with zips. The "tent", on the other hand, protects against insects even when you’re not sleeping in a hammock but, for example, on a camp bed or directly on the ground. All you need to set it up are 4 pegs or sharpened sticks.

The mesh of which the mosquito net is made is so dense that even blackflies will not get through it. Additionally, the mosquito net doesn’t trap forest debris, so contact with the forest floor won’t result in the need for tedious cleaning of needles or leaves.

Once hung in the hammock, Magla conforms to its shape on its own, eliminating the need for additional struts, poles, or frames. When the mosquito net isn’t needed, it can be easily rolled up without disturbing the hammock itself.

The mosquito net comes with a set of ropes for hanging.

    The mosquito net works perfectly. During a longer trip, when I first used a hammock to sleep in, it protected me from insects. If it wasn't for this purchase, I would have been bitten on the first night. :D The only downside is quite a high price. On the plus side: made in Poland and excellent quality :)
