All of the tools, with the exception of the bronze de-burring tool, are made of stainless steel and coated with black oxide, providing protection against corrosion and reducing glare. The multitool is designed to allow easy one-handed operation, leaving the other hand free in case several actions need to be performed simultaneously.

The unit is compatible with most of the standard M16/AR-15 family of weapon service cleaning rods. The tang tool, which holds the weapon structure, is unscrewed and a cut-out or brush can be fitted in its place for easy use. A threaded hole for attaching a notch or brush is located in the centre of the multitool's handle, providing a convenient handle for the cleaning rod.

The multitool also features a socket for interchangeable bits. There is a storage space in the handle for interchangeable bits, allowing quick access to all necessary bits. The set includes bits designed to handle the M16/AR-15 family of weapons, plus the tool features ST300 sight and front sight adjustment tools. A 3/8-inch spanner is also included in the set, which will come in handy for repairs and troubleshooting.

The multitool is designed for easy replacement of the most commonly worn parts. These parts are replaced using a #8 Torx spanner and the process is quick and hassle-free, even under battlefield conditions.
