Another Optimal Jacket from Helikon-Tex. The Infantry is as far as I know the 2nd Level in the List of Helikon Jackets and as such Warmer than the Classic-Army (Which I also have). I chose Size M in Black, which fits me Optimally as Im 180m with Shoulder 48-50. I usually take size L, but This Jacket as usual with Helikon Wear is Military standard Lose, which is Good. Its really Warm, and the Frostier it gets outside the Warmer the Jacket of choice should be. This one I chose for under a coat, so I only need a Thermo T-shirt and this jacket underneath. Helikon Infantry Fleece - Black/wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
A soft and warm fleece jacket with a zip, designed as an insulating layer for cold days, effectively retains heat while allowing moisture and excess heat generated during physical activity to escape. The Helikon Infantry model is made of durable fleece with a grammage of 380 g/m². The looser fit allows for comfortable wearing of additional layers, such as a light sweatshirt or thermal clothing. The slightly longer back provides better protection for the lower back from the cold, while the whole garment has been designed so as not to restrict access to pockets or equipment worn on the belt.
Breathable fleece
The fleece is made of 100% quick-drying polyester with a grammage of 380 g/m². The material provides a high level of insulation and breathability, allowing excess moisture to wick away and preventing body cooling. The fabric is durable and resistant to damage, making the jacket suitable for outdoor activities in rough terrain, whether hiking or performing tactical tasks.
Roomy pockets
The fleece is equipped with four zipped pockets:
- two classic hip pockets,
- one chest pocket,
- one shoulder pocket (left side)
The zips on the hip pockets are sewn in at an angle, making it easier to store and retrieve carried items. Additionally, each zip is finished with a fabric strap, allowing for easier grip even when wearing thick gloves.
Material reinforcements and high collar
The fleece is reinforced with abrasion-resistant material on the elbows, shoulders, the flaps protecting the hip pocket zips, and the lower inner section. Elastic cuffs have been replaced with Velcro-adjustable straps, allowing the sleeve circumference to be customised. The high collar protects the neck from cold and wind, helping to maintain better body thermal regulation. The back of the collar is reinforced with fabric to prevent wear caused by contact with a weapon sling.
Velcro panels
Velcro straps have been sewn onto both sides of the chest and on both sleeves, allowing the attachment of various emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches, giving the fleece a personalised touch.

The fleece is made of high-quality materials, very carefully sewn and looks great. At 180 cm tall and 83 kg, with an athletic build, size M fits me perfectly.

The fleece is excellent, top quality. The velcro panels hold firmly and the reinforced areas on the forearms and shoulders are made from really solid material. Small note — the sizing is a bit generous. I am 184 cm tall and about 95 kg, and size L was too big. M fit perfectly though.

A warm fleece with a tailored cut – fits perfectly. You can wear it as an alternative to a jacket even at -1°C. It’s thick and at the same time soft. Fully matches the description – I recommend it.

A very warm sweatshirt, fits the uniform. Remember to buy one size smaller. It is warmer than the currently issued pressed fleece. Excellent for frosty weather.

A warm and very pleasant fleece, suitable for winter and other seasons. Solidly made, the zip doesn't get stuck, and the material doesn't pill. I've had it for almost two years, highly recommend.

Great fleece – aesthetically pleasing and very comfortable, perfect for winter, definitely worth recommending. It keeps the neck area warm thanks to the collar and protects against draughts. An additional advantage is the double zip, which you can undo while sitting, along with a good number of practical pockets.

Big plus for the well-described size chart. The product is solidly made – Velcro, zips, and other details are neatly sewn in, with no loose threads. Also, the thick material insulates perfectly against cold and wind.

The sweatshirt is fine, but the colour doesn’t match the photo – it’s just plain green. We’ll see how it holds up for durability outdoors. The sizing is generous, so if you usually wear L, I suggest choosing M.

A really warm fleece, works well as an insulating layer under ceratex, but may be too thick for usual jackets. Worth keeping in mind. In my opinion, the Velcro on the sleeves is unnecessary and a bit annoying, traditional cuffs would be better. I also think the back is unnecessarily longer than the front — that's just my opinion. As a standalone layer, it looks excellent. Recommended for those still undecided.

Thick and warm fleece material with lots of practical pockets, works very well even in tough conditions. The high collar protects the neck and nape well. A very solid fleece jumper in military colours. Suitable for outdoor use, expeditions, in the forest, fishing, as well as walks around the city. Carefully finished, equipped with zipped pockets, adjustable cuffs and a bottom drawcord. I sincerely recommend it.

It's an excellent Helikon product and really worth buying. Remarkable quality and finishing. The material protects well against the cold, the fleece is comfortable, pleasant, and trendy. I really like it and I'm very pleased. I regret not buying it sooner. It's a very practical part of the wardrobe, worth every penny. I definitely recommend giving it a try!
