Very good tool, I have already managed to sharpen many knives – although it does require a bit of practice. I recommend it.

Diamond whetstone from the American company DMT, the world leader in this industry - an absolute HIGH-END among this type of tools.
Dimensions 5 cm x 15 cm. Gradation similar to sandpaper No. 320 (coarse, grain 45 microns) - ideal for re-profiling the cutting edge and sharpening severely dulled knives.Diamond powder was sputtered onto a precision-cut steel plate with a perfectly flat surface. The main advantages of the diamond whetstone:
- abrasive harder than carbides in alloy steels
- the surface does not change shape with wear
- does not require oil or water
Indispensable for sharpening knives made of hard and highly wear-resistant modern high-alloy steels. For less advanced steels, it will greatly speed up sharpening.

Hello! I haven't compared it with other sharpeners, but this one has completely met my expectations. Very easy to use (doesn't require water or lubrication), also suitable for beginners. After checking instructions online beforehand, I had no problems using it.

An excellent piece of steel. I bought it to go with my existing DMT Fine. I felt sorry for my previous stone after using it on very worn knives. This grit works perfectly for renewing blunt blades or changing the sharpening angle. Fully worth the money spent.

1. The service in the shop is of the highest standard: friendly, professional, quick. 2. No type of steel is a problem for it. With knives made from soft steel, you have to be careful not to remove too much material from the blade.

I have been using this whetstone for over a year now and it still works excellently. Right after purchasing it was put through intensive testing by sharpening two complete sets of heavily damaged electric planer knives, which took around 10 hours. Despite heavy usage, the stone still performs its function very well. On a daily basis I use it to sharpen two Japanese kitchen knives and a Victorinox. Thanks to its solid weight and rubber feet it does not slip during work. I definitely recommend it – it is worth its price, just like the fine grit version.

Excellent sharpening stone with outstanding build quality. The surface is very even, with no flaws or deficiencies typical of cheaper products. Sharpening is quick, even and satisfying. I have used it for a year to sharpen various knives (including Victorinox), stainless and carbon steels, a 70 cm machete, scissors and clipper blades – always without any problems. The Coarse grit provides a very effective edge finish; with the right technique, you get razor-sharp results. You only need a light press at the end and to finish it on leather with polishing paste. I definitely recommend the product – although the price is high, it is an investment that pays off, as the stone will last for years. The rubber feet improve the stability of the set, although they may slide on wet surfaces. For cleaning, I use a brush and water as instructed. The product will probably last for many years. I recommend both the stone and the shop.
