A very good tool, I've already managed to sharpen many knives – although it does take a bit of practice. I recommend it.

Diamond whetstone from the American company DMT, the global leader in this field - a true HIGH-END tool among its kind.
Dimensions 5 cm x 15 cm. Comparable to sandpaper No. 320 (coarse, 45 microns grain) - perfect for reshaping the cutting edge and sharpening extremely dull knives. The diamond powder is applied to a precision-machined steel plate with an exceptionally flat surface. Key benefits of the diamond whetstone include:
- abrasive harder than carbides in alloy steels
- a surface that retains its shape even as it wears
- no need for oil or water
Essential for sharpening knives crafted from hard and highly wear-resistant advanced high-alloy steels. For simpler steels, it significantly accelerates the sharpening process.

Hello! I haven't compared it with other sharpeners, but this one completely met my expectations. Very easy to use (doesn't require water or oil), also suitable for beginners. After reading the instructions online beforehand, I had no problems using it.

An outstanding piece of steel. I bought it to complement my already owned DMT Fine. I felt sorry for my previous sharpener after using it on very worn-out knives. This grit works great for renewing dull blades or changing the sharpening angle. It's definitely worth the money spent.

1. The service at the store is top-notch: friendly, professional, and fast. 2. No type of steel is an obstacle for it. With knives made of soft steel, you have to be careful not to remove too much material from the blade.

I have been using this sharpening stone for over a year now and it still works perfectly. Right after purchase, it underwent intensive testing by sharpening two sets of heavily damaged electric planer knives, which took about 10 hours. Despite heavy use, the stone still performs its function perfectly. On a daily basis, I use it to sharpen two Japanese kitchen knives and a Victorinox. Thanks to its solid weight and rubber feet, it doesn't slip during use. I definitely recommend it—it's worth its price, just like the fine grit version.

An excellent sharpening stone with great build quality. The surface is very even, without the flaws or defects typical of cheaper products. Sharpening is quick, even, and satisfying. I've been using it for a year to sharpen various knives (including Victorinox), stainless steel, carbon steel, a 70 cm machete, scissors, and clipper blades. Always trouble-free. The Coarse grit provides very effective edge finishing; with the right technique, you can achieve a razor-sharp edge. Just a lighter press at the end and a stroke on leather with polishing paste is enough. I definitely recommend this product – although the price is high, it's an investment that pays off because the whetstone will last for years. Rubber feet improve the stability of the set, although they may slide on wet surfaces. I use a brush and water for cleaning according to the instructions. This product will probably last many years. I recommend both the sharpening stone and the store.
