I'll start with the construction: the build quality is a bit different than in the UV-5R, seemingly more delicate materials were used. You need to get used to the buttons. The power switch is at the top, next to the antenna, like with Hytera. The PTT works well, but needs to be pressed at the top. Volume is adjusted with buttons, and instead of a knob on the top, there's a torch. The display is clear and the sound is very loud even at the lowest setting – you need to turn it down straight away after powering on because the voice prompts are loud and in English. The mounting screws are under the battery flap; I thought they weren't included in the set. The belt clip is very stiff, difficult to stretch, and I'm worried it could break. I wanted to use the solution from the UV-5R, but unfortunately the holes don't match and the clip lacks a spring. Charging is via USB. Unfortunately, you can only programme it with a computer and the cable from UV-5R doesn't fit; you need to use the dedicated model cable, which isn't included and costs about 30 zł. I didn't find it on Militaria.pl, but it's available on Allegro. I haven't had a chance to programme the device yet. The radio is very neat, FM works properly, as a portable PMR I can definitely recommend it.

The BF-T1 is a small, handy, and unobtrusive radio. The menu includes 14 basic options, such as squelch, VOX, voice prompts, scanning, and DCS tones. A downside is the lack of manual channel frequency setting.
