A hat made from Nyco Extreme, a 185 g/m2 material that combines tough Cordura with breathable cotton. With its Rip-Stop weave reinforcement, the fabric remains stable and does not fray, even when localized damage occurs. NyCo Extreme - resistant Cordura and breathable cotton

The Cordura fabric is notable for its exceptional durability. Its unique fiber composition ensures superior protection against mechanical wear and tear, even with heavy use.

Cotton plays a key role in wicking away moisture while maintaining breathability, which minimizes the chances of chafing or skin irritation, thereby greatly enhancing the hat's comfort.

The thicker threads in Rip-Stop weaves form an extra mesh, which strengthens the fabric and stops damage from spreading further.

Adjustable brim and circumference, air cushion, mesh vents

The hat's circumference can be easily adjusted with an elastic cord and stopper. The brim includes an integrated wire for a precise fit to the head's contours.

To enhance comfort, this model is equipped with an internal air cushion that offers additional thermal insulation to maintain an ideal body temperature. Even though it provides extra protection, the cushion remains lightweight, not adding to the hat's weight.

Strategically placed mesh vents at the front and back facilitate free airflow.

Accessory pocket, loops, Velcro

Webbing with loops is stitched onto the hat, allowing for the attachment of useful accessories or a camouflage net. Within, there's a flat pocket designed for holding small items.

Velcro panels enable the attachment of various patches or emblems, such as flags, unit symbols, or Morale Patches.

    The hat was useful right away the next day after purchase during a mountain hike – it is very light and breathes great. The flexible brim allows you to shape the rim any way you want, which I consider a big plus. The quality of workmanship is excellent – this is already my third hat from UF PRO and I must say that the previous two boonie hats from Helikon can already be put aside. I definitely recommend it.

    Best boonie I have owned, that said it is not exactly magical - it shines with additional airflow to help you cool down on long marches. But by far my favorite element about this is that it has a metal wire inside the outer edge to allow for molding the shape just right, no more looking like a wet towel. It does have a cooling pad option from UF PRO but I have not tried that yet, I sweat hard enough to do the job myself. One thing I am not too thrilled about is the velcro locations.. would have loved an identification bar in the back but that is a small down side, can always stitch that on myself.

    I absolutely recommend buying this. I measured my head circumference (58–59), so I ordered size L. It fits perfectly. The ventilation is excellent. Thanks to the elastic drawstring, the boonie can be secured at the back of the head so it doesn’t fly off even when riding a quad bike. I’m thrilled with the product. I’m going to get a second one as well.

    I usually wear caps but I wanted something which would offer better ventilation during the summer months and additionally I liked the idea of the cooling pad. I am not a massive fan of this style of hat but I will admit that I am very impressed with how comfortable it is and how much cooler it was to wear in comparison to my usual cap.

    I love this UF Pro hat, it's the first item I've ordered from this brand, and I'm not at all disappointed with the innovation of this hat and its quality.     After a year of use, I can say that the hat works perfectly in military conditions. It is lightweight, comfortable, and effectively protects against the sun during prolonged outdoor activities.     The hat is very soft and lacks a neck cover. The size adjustment doesn't work very well. Overall, I think it's a weak choice – I don't discourage it, but I also can't recommend it, as it depends on your needs. As always, the order handling was flawless!
