Constructed from durable plastic, the black housing meets IP13 standards, offering defense against objects larger than 50 mm and resistance to water spray at angles up to 60 degrees.
Device operation
To activate the product, remove the tab, which powers the device on, as indicated by the blinking LEDs. The device remains on and functions for a duration of at least 6 months. To verify the battery status, press the button; the LED behind the grille should blink four times. If it blinks fewer times, the device needs replacement.
Attach TickLess to the collar so the grille in the housing points towards the animal's body, ensuring the ultrasonic waves disperse effectively.

I've been using this model for two years for two dogs together with Fiprex on the skin. Since then, I haven't had to remove any embedded ticks—sometimes I find a tick walking on the dog, but it doesn't burrow into the skin. It's worth remembering that ticks are active at around +7°C, so they can appear even in a warm February. According to the instructions, the device is not suitable for bathing in the sea. The CR2032 replacement battery is easy to buy and replace, and the Tickless can be opened because the housing is not glued.

In my opinion, the device works. However, due to the high price (outside of promotions) and the fact that it works for me for 7-8 months and is single-use, it's worth thinking carefully before buying. After that period it becomes electronic waste. The product should be designed so you can replace the battery. Then it would make sense ecologically as well.
