SOG Specialty Knives & Tools is an American brand that was founded in 1986 by Spencer Frazier, who was inspired by the historic MACV-SOG knife used by special forces during the Vietnam War. The first model, the S1 Bowie, was developed in collaboration with Japanese master blacksmith Ichiro Hattori and quickly gained iconic status among tactical knives.
