It's a straightforward backpack for everyday use. Personally, I miss having front pockets where you could quickly store keys or other small items – without them, you have to open the entire main compartment every time. The price could also be a bit lower. The craftsmanship is very high, but in terms of functionality, the backpack is average.

MAPA camouflage
The MAPA camouflage pattern was designed by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and currently a researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, the author of, among other publications, Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdańsk 2015). The innovative design, supported by convincing theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of photographs of the terrain, attracted the attention of specialists and military clothing manufacturers. In 2017, the MAPA camouflage made its debut at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce as a camouflage pattern for the Dromader system of accouterment and uniforms by Maskpol, which is part of the Polish Armaments Group. The system was created for soldiers of the Territorial Defense Army, but the MAPA camouflage itself was also considered as a perspective pattern for the entire Polish Armed Forces, where it could replace the wz.93 camouflage. Unfortunately, the MAPA camouflage has not been implemented to date as an official camouflage pattern of the Polish Army.
The main features of MAPA camouflage in the basic forest variant
- 6 colors forming layers resembling levels on a map
- colors optimized for operations in the forests of Central Europe
- use of the illusion of three-dimensionality and anamorphosis effect
- biomorphic shapes making the design similar to vegetation
- strongly contrasting elements imitating flashes of light and shadows
- deformation of the masked silhouette using macro pattern
- color noise reproduced by means of a micro pattern
The MAPA pattern is an interesting alternative to the best contemporary camouflage patterns such as PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn or Finnish M/05. In some respects it is more advanced than them, and also better reproduces the colors found in Central European forests in the period from later spring to early autumn.

My opinion is rather mixed. The advantages are the high-quality material and solid plastic elements. There is an additional compartment at the back for a camelbak. In the main chamber, there is also a functional pocket for a laptop. The backpack has an organizer, which was not mentioned in the description – unfortunately, it was taken directly from the Sparrow 20 model, which makes it not too comfortable or useful, as items easily fall out of it. It also seems that the organizer is made from weak polyester material. The unusual buckles on the shoulder straps make them difficult to adjust – the straps are hard to move. The side bottle pockets are made of mesh, which is a pity, as Cordura would have worked better. Overall, it resembles the solid Wisport backpacks – high-class materials and good finish, but at the same time you can feel some simplifications and impractical details. I expected a more innovative design.

The backpack looks very good and is carefully made. The material seems solid and durable. In reality, the product differs a bit from the photos – the side yellow straps are actually green. The shoulder straps seem a bit too wide and are a little awkward to adjust, but it's not a big issue. The back pocket has an unusual access – it opens from the side, which sometimes makes it hard to find things inside. I believe the Nadkoli brand should promote their products better, because they are really worth recommending, and I learned about most of their practical solutions only during use or from online reviews.
