The model features an innovative Insect Shield technology, involving the durable impregnation of the fabric with an insect repellent (permethrin).     The pants have nice, light shades, the material is lightweight but not see-through, although I would prefer it to be a bit thicker. The cut is relaxed. The clothing has a UPF40+ certificate, which I consider a big advantage, although the website listed UPF50. To me, Columbia stands out for its careful stitching and well-thought-out solutions. However, the downside is the unusual sizing – the clothes seem to be designed for people with fuller figures and I always have to order several neighboring sizes. According to the chart, the pants should be size 36, but actually 34 fits me. I wear the fleece in size S, even though I usually wear L, and I take a shirt in M, although I usually choose L. The price is high, but the quality is really very good.

    These pants are extremely comfortable and are perfect for longer hikes or field trips. The fabric is lightweight, breathable, and dries quickly, which greatly improves wearing comfort. The cargo pockets are a great solution for carrying necessary small items. The Insect Shield protection is really useful when staying near water or in the forest. The pants fit well and do not restrict movement. If someone is looking for comfortable pants for outdoor activities, I definitely recommend them.
