Temperature ratings and usage conditions
The XP Down 1000 sleeping bag's temperature ratings are determined in accordance with the EN 13537 standard:
- T-limit: -20 C – the lowest temperature at which a man can sleep through the night with comfort,
- T-extreme: -40 C – the minimum temperature for survival in the sleeping bag. Not recommended for regular use.
90/10 CQ-Down filling
The sleeping bag is equipped with 90/10 CQ-Down goose down filling, offering a lightweight structure with outstanding thermal insulation and a loft rating of 600 cuin. Down is arranged in H-shaped chambers to prevent shifting, ensuring uniform warmth distribution.
Central zipper, Anti Snag system
This model is equipped with a two-way central zipper that can be completely unzipped. The Anti Snag system is designed to prevent the fabric from getting caught in the zipper. An insulated draft tube along the zipper effectively blocks cold air, and a Velcro flap at the top secures against unintentional opening. The trapezoidal foot section enhances comfort and aids in retaining warmth within the bag.
Integrated hood for cold protection
The hood is designed with an adjustable face opening that allows for a personalized fit using drawcords, effectively preventing the loss of heat.
Easy transport and storage
When packed, the sleeping bag occupies minimal space—25 x 30 cm, and has a weight of 1700 g, making it convenient to carry without burdening your backpack.
