Temperature ratings and usage conditions
The temperature ratings for the XP Down 1000 sleeping bag are specified in compliance with the EN 13537 standard:
- T-limit: -20 C – the minimum temperature in which a man can sleep overnight without experiencing discomfort.
- T-extreme: -40 C – the lowest temperature at which staying alive inside the sleeping bag is feasible. This is not advised for regular use.
95/5 CQ-Down filling
The sleeping bag is insulated with 90/10 CQ-Down goose down, known for its light weight and superior thermal insulation properties, boasting a loft rating of 600 cuin. To prevent shifting and ensure even warmth, the down is situated within H-shaped chambers.
Central zipper, Anti Snag system
This model is equipped with a two-way central zipper that allows for full opening. The Anti Snag system prevents the fabric from catching in the zipper. A draft tube with insulation runs alongside the zipper to block cold air, and a Velcro flap at the top prevents accidental unzipping. The trapezoidal foot section enhances comfort and preserves warmth inside the bag.
Integrated hood for cold protection
Contoured hood with a modifiable face aperture offers a personalized fit through drawcords, effectively minimizing heat escape.
Easy transport and storage
After being packed, the sleeping bag occupies minimal space—25 x 30 cm, and it weighs 1800 g, allowing for easy transportation without overloading your backpack.
